Malpractice Insurance:
Medical & dental professionals volunteering who do not carry their own malpractice insurance coverage will be covered under the RIOHF Insurance Policy for the RI MOM event.

Volunteer Options:


The following is a list of clinical volunteer positions:
  • Dental Triage
  • Endodontic
  • Local Anesthesia
  • Oral Surgery
  • Pediatrics
  • Prosthetics
  • Restorative

Dental Instruments and Supplies:
The CCRI dental clinic has fully functioning state of the operatories with all of the equipment and supplies needed to provide quality dentistry. All instruments and supplies will be provided.

Due to compliance issues we cannot allow personal supplies and instruments. .


  • Bring any special equipment you may need; i.e., headlights, magnifying eyewear. Be sure they are marked properly with your identification.
  • Non-narcotic analgesics are available on site at no cost to patients. Clinicians may bring their own prescription pads and judiciously prescribe narcotics as they feel absolutely necessary.

The RIMOM is two-day FREE dental clinic is the signature event of the Rhode Island Oral Health Foundation.
This clinic provides free dental care to the uninsured, underinsured and anyone who otherwise has difficulty
accessing dental care. Services are provided by licensed dental professional volunteers and include cleanings,
fluoride treatments, sealants, fillings, x-rays, tooth extractions, root canal treatment on front teeth only,
oral health instructions, small denture repairs, and a limited number of partial dentures to replace missing front teeth.
