The Rhode Island Mission of Mercy free dental health clinic will be held next month with hundreds of people expected.


June 8, 2012 — First-ever R.I. Mission of Mercy Free Dental Event at CCRI Campus Treats 801 Patients
For many people a trip to the dentist is a cause for procrastination; but when the Community College of Rhode Island hosted the first -ever Rhode Island Mission of Mercy event on June 2 and 3 to provide free dental treatment, patients began lining up as early as 6pm on the preceding night.

The RIMOM is two-day FREE dental clinic is the signature event of the Rhode Island Oral Health Foundation.
This clinic provides free dental care to the uninsured, underinsured and anyone who otherwise has difficulty
accessing dental care. Services are provided by licensed dental professional volunteers and include cleanings,
fluoride treatments, sealants, fillings, x-rays, tooth extractions, root canal treatment on front teeth only,
oral health instructions, small denture repairs, and a limited number of partial dentures to replace missing front teeth.
